How to price lash extension services

Lash appointments are long, and fills that arrive at three or four weeks can take nearly as long as a new set. This calculator prices every set and fill from your table time and supply cost, then builds a lash price menu ready for your booking page or Instagram.

Set type and time
Classic, hybrid, and volume sets take very different amounts of time. Price each from your real average.
Fill timing
Fills at two weeks are quick; fills at four weeks are nearly a full set. Many artists price fills by week.
Supplies
Lash trays, adhesive, pads, and tape are small per client but add up over a month.
Policies
A fill-retention rule and a no-show policy protect your schedule and keep fills profitable.

The formula behind the calculator

Cost = (hours × your hourly pay) + supplies + travel. Price = cost × (1 + overhead) ÷ (1 − margin), rounded up to the nearest $5 (or $1 under $20). Add-ons skip the travel and setup charge, since they ride along with a main service. Every input is yours to change, so you can see exactly how each assumption moves your prices.

Frequently asked questions

How much should a lash artist charge?

Start from the real time each set takes, multiply by your target hourly pay, add supplies and overhead, then add margin. Volume sets should cost more because they take longer and use more product.

How should I price lash fills?

Price by how long since the last appointment. A two-week fill is quick, while a four-week fill is close to a full set and should be priced like one.

Should I take deposits for lash appointments?

Most lash artists do. Long appointments make no-shows expensive, and a deposit protects that time.
